Veolia Innovation Manager Academy 2.0


Scope
Design and delivery of an internal innovation program empowering Veolia employees to develop new business concepts, test them with real customers, and prepare them for potential implementation.
The Heart's Role
The Heart co-created the structure and methodology of the entire program, acted as its operator, and provided end-to-end mentoring and facilitation support.
Key activities
- Program concept design and curriculum development
- Organization of 7 2-days workshop sessions over 6 months
- Involvement of external experts and mentors
- Mentoring of 7 innovation teams working on diverse concepts
- Integration of pilot partners (target clients) for early-stage validation
- Preparation of deliverables: pitch decks, business plans, pilot concepts, marketing materials
- Final Demo Day with presentation to Veolia leadership

- 7 innovative product and service concepts created
- Strong internal innovation culture fostered

Team Composition
Each team had 7 Veolia employees from various departments (engineering, sales, operations, product, etc.). Participants were experienced professionals and emerging leaders passionate about innovation.
The Heart tasks
The Heart co-developed the program concept and workshop flow, mentored teams throughout the process, and co-led training sessions alongside other experts from The Heart. We guided teams through product discovery, validation, and business modeling.
