We work across three models: Accelerate (supporting founders with early traction in scaling and fundraising), Incubate (deep co-creation from idea to investment readiness), and Spin-off (full venture formation around scientific IP). We don't invest capital - we invest expertise, structure, and ecosystem access, staying with founders through every stage of building.
Role Overview
Do you get excited by startups, emerging technologies, and turning insights into real business opportunities?
At The Heart, you'll work at the intersection of venture building, innovation, and strategy. You'll scout startups and technologies, validate business opportunities, work directly with corporate partners, and help build new ventures from the ground up.
We're looking for someone who combines strong analytical thinking with business intuition, takes ownership of their work, and is genuinely active in the startup and tech ecosystem. What You’ll Do
- Source and evaluate startups, technologies, and commercialization-ready innovations for new venture opportunities.
- Participate in building and assessing business models based on early concepts and insights.
- Validate hypotheses through market research, customer interviews, and data analysis.
- Conduct analyses in key areas - market sizing, competitive landscape, trend identification, and customer profiling.
- Work with corporate partners on technology scouting initiatives by translating strategic briefs into targeted tech searches, conducting rigorous startup assessments, and presenting actionable recommendations through workshops and key client deliverables.
- Support business development by preparing offer materials and presentations for corporate clients.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of our startups, working closely with multidisciplinary teams.
What We’re Looking For
Must-have
- Delivers on live projects - sharp analytical thinking, solid business intuition, and the autonomy to take a task from brief to conclusion without being walked through it.
- Owns the data and the story - takes full responsibility for findings and can report, defend, and explain them clearly, to the team and to clients.
- Active presence and network in the startup / tech ecosystem - genuine involvement in the founder and innovation community (events, communities, prior activity), not just interest in it.
- Works fluently with AI - uses LLMs and modern tools to work faster and sharper, and understands their limits.
- Strong communicator and team player - high EQ, a clear narrative, and the instinct to get to the point.
- min. 6 months of relevant professional experience (or equivalent proof of skills).
- Fluent in English (spoken and written); proactive and effective at managing your own time.
- Comfortable with Google Workspace / MS Office and Notion.
- Available at least 4/5 of full-time, ideally full-time.
Nice-to-have
- Exposure to venture building, consulting, or deeptech / science commercialization.
- Familiarity with frameworks used in building startups and products.
