Role overview

As a Partnership Manager, you will be responsible for growing a network of strategic partnerships with student organizations, and brands looking to co-create projects targeting the student community with uniperks.

Your mission will be to build an active ambassador community, co-organize events, and help brands reach students in a genuine and impactful way.

This role is perfect for someone who can bridge the world of academia and business who is comfortable talking to an SGH student organization one moment and Samsung’s marketing team the next.

The ideal candidate can combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution, enjoys building trust-based partnerships, and is looking for a role where ideas truly translate into results.

What You’ll Do

Academic & Community Partnerships

  • Build and maintain relationships with student organizations (NZS, student governments, scientific clubs, Juwenalia organizers).
  • Develop the university partnership program – acquiring new app users through engagement with the student community.
  • Coordinate student influencers – collaborate with creators who engage their peers in uniperks campaigns and initiatives.

Commercial Partnerships

  • Maintain relationships with B2B partners – brands like Sephora, Google, Samsung.
  • Connect commercial contacts with the operations team responsible for campaign execution.
  • Coordinate production and delivery of partner materials – both physical (in collaboration with printing partners) and digital.
  • Participate in organizing events and on-campus activities – from lectures to branded partner events.
  • Occasional fieldwork – attending select student events (e.g., Juwenalia, open days, promotional campaigns, campus stands).

Reporting & Coordination

  • Monitor and manage partner commissions for acquired users.
  • Maintain the commission system, report results, and measure campaign effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with Growth and Marketing teams on partnership, CSR, and brand initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in partnerships, B2B sales, community management, or university marketing (at least 1–2 years).
  • Strong relationship-building skills – with both business partners and academic communities.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail (coordinating multiple projects simultaneously).
  • Independence and proactivity – you can take an idea and see it through to execution.
  • Outstanding communication skills (verbal and written) and a natural ability to inspire and engage others.
  • Nice to have: experience coordinating production of marketing materials or events.
  • A plus: familiarity with the student environment (e.g., involvement in student government, NZS, or other academic organizations).
